chatter.boo is an independent client for twitch chat. reading is open to everyone. signing in with twitch lets you chat, upload media and keep settings, and means you accept these terms. about & privacy covers how the site handles data.
chatter.boo has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. this includes harassment, threats and bullying; hate speech; sexual content involving minors, or sexual content sent to people who did not ask for it; posting others' private information; spam, scams and malware; and anything unlawful. it applies to everything sent or uploaded through the site — chat messages, replies, images, video, notes and board posts.
chat is twitch's: everything you send from here is sent to twitch as you, under twitch's terms of service and community guidelines, and twitch's moderators, AutoMod and enforcement apply as they would on twitch. images and clips uploaded to chatter.boo are hosted here: those that break this rule are removed once reported. chatter.boo is not affiliated with twitch.
on a message (hold or right-click): hide removes it from your screen; report ↗ opens the sender's twitch card for that channel, where twitch's report is under ⋯ with their recent messages to choose from. on a person's card: block hides everything from them here and on twitch (your twitch block list). the chat card's hidden list does the same for words or @users, on your device only.
on a message that links an image or clip uploaded to chatter.boo, report (no arrow) goes to chatter.boo, which reviews it and removes content that breaks these terms.
you are responsible for what is sent from your account. you keep the rights to what you post and grant chatter.boo the permission needed to store, display and return it to you; about & privacy explains retention and how to download or delete it.
chatter.boo is free and provided as-is, run by one person; it may change, go down or close. messages here are a log of a public feed, not a system of record. to the extent the law allows, there is no warranty and no liability for other people's content or for the site being unavailable. these terms may change; the current version is always at chatter.boo/terms, and continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
